This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
"Paige" called me several times exactly as previous callers have described. She doesn't identify who she's representing. She just says that I need to be served with paperwork (legal), that I have a state file number, and that I need to be available to receive it. She also threatens to take it to HR at my place of employment. Nothing has actually occurred, but she continues leaving messages with extremely vague legal consequences.
