I am reporting an issue with LinkedIn’s advertising and notification system. Recently, I created a LinkedIn Business Page and began running ads for my company. Shortly afterward, I received multiple notifications from LinkedIn stating that people were requesting information about my services. Each notification said that I needed to upgrade to a Premium account in order to view the requests. I upgraded as instructed. Once the upgrade was complete, none of the supposed requests appeared. There were no inquiries, no messages, and no data showing that anyone had requested information. This creates the appearance that LinkedIn sent misleading notifications to push a Premium subscription. If this was not intentional, then the system is malfunctioning and needs to be corrected, because it resulted in an unnecessary paid upgrade under false pretenses. I am requesting clarification, investigation, and resolution. I would also like to know whether this is a known issue and why the notifications did not match the actual activity on my account.
