This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I purchased a workbook set for my son to learn to write. One month later I received the product. Days after receiving the product I was charged an additional $29.99 for a subscription that I was unknowingly signed up for. The “subscription” is to receive discounted products, but I did not set up for the subscription, nor do I want it. Although I did find a “cancel this subscription” button, I cannot ask for a refund as there is no contact button on the website to get in touch with the company. This is an unethical business practice.
