On Friday Oct 2nd , 2025 a woman wearing a Spectrum Badge named Brenda Gomez said they were doing work in m area and did I have problem with spectrum. I said no, she said what you paying for yoru spectrum service? So I let her in, told her I was paying $262.00 a month on Spectrum . She said that is too much money, and told me she could get me $135.27 with a package with ADT Security for $69.99. I signed the service agreement. IIt has the price listed separately on this paper of $135.27 Spectrum, $69.99 ADT and $203.99 for both company prices. The service agreement says In Home Services at the top with this number, 1-888-377-1201. She told me I would see this price in one billing cycle. Then she send a person named Ronaldo 1-562-672-7155 to install this camera at my Dads house. Brenda Gomez told me I would recieve an email within 48 hours reflecting the price of Spectrum $135.27 and ADT $69.99. I never got an email saying that. I looked online for In Home Services could not find an address, and saw on google this mostly probably was a scam. I then called on Monday, 10/05/2025 ADT to cancel this camera stuff. They would not send me to cancellation dept because I had signed up with In Home Ssrvices. I called themIn home services and they would not cancel and said I would get my promised email with that price by Friday 10/09/2025. I told them I wanted to cancel and had called ADT they sent me back to IIn Home Services. Ashley the manager at In home Services told me I had to go thru them exclusively, and wait 2 billing cycles to relect this price of both companies. I kept calling ADT to cancel, they sent me back to In Home Services. Robert at In Home services was bullying me over the phone saying I signed a docusign, which I never did with a company called Real Home Security.. They are not listed on my service agreement. Our power went out the 12th of October and this camera setup was hissing, making loud beeping noises, and I called Ronaldo who installed it to remove it. No answer. I called back ADT but they kept sending be back to In Home Services. Finally after numerous calls to In Home services, ADT, and also Real Home Security, who never called me back, I called ADT on 10/28/ 2025. and at ADT a woman named Daisy, ( I actually got transfered to the cancelaatio dept.) Canceled this ADT . I asked if they wanted the camera equip back, she said no, it was not from them. So 2.5 weeks of loud noises , hissing, my father unhooked the camera equipment. He broke a wire while doing so. He is 87, ever signed any this service agreement, I had only showed it to him. In Home services said I would have to pay a one time fee, and was stalling for anyone to get this camera equipment which was malfunctoning unhooked. On 10/31/2025 She sent a person named Leo ( who nstalls solar) to take pics of all the camera equipement. He took the sensors off the house. She then called and said I had to pay $1200 for the broken wire on the camera. She also had the last 4 digits of my Dads checking account, (not mine) I have no idea how she got the information. I had to go to my Dads bank and talk to the manager to let him know about this scam, and how did this In Home Services get his Checking account information, which she had given to ADT. I called back ADT and spoke with Carissa on 11/03/2025 and she removed my Dads checking account information, told her about ti from their billing. She also sent me a copy of the ADT contract, which I had never seen, and someone had docusigned my name on this ADT contract.(It was not met.) Thiis is a terrible scam, spoke with Spectrums Legal dept, and also ADT legal dept person named Humbert. Told him all what happened here. Now ADT is trying to charge me $59.99.
