This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
This was the third call in 2 days from un-identifiable numbers claiming to be with QUICKBOOKS - I told them I wanted a toll free number to call back in to speak with someone - she gave be the number of 855.994.4834 - which has also shown up as an unidentifiable number. So all numbers between the 2 days were: 877.624.5077; 551.302.4314; 540.579.4510; and 855.994.4834. When I called Quickbooks direct, they said they do NOT call people about payments, they will e-mail a notice and have us go into our account to update the card, but would never call out. This is so frustrating!
