This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Received an email to sign up for a microsoft teams interview. A similar style scam to the TXT Group scam where a check is sent for “materials”. When this check was deposited to my account, I was instructed to activate an authentication key with my cash app Bitcoin feature. My bank was notified immediately and luckily before any funds were spent.
