Description

The website was advertised on TikTok selling "$5 jeans and boots" from Boot Barn. The website appeared to be very similar to Boot Barn's website but was not legitimate. Items were shown, described, and listed for $5-$15, extremely discounted, too good to be true prices. I put together a cart that consisted of 5 pairs of jeans, 1 shirt, 2 pull overs, a jacket, and 2 hand bags. The cart totaled to $58.77, charging $60.53 after the international purchase fee. I received a confirmation email, as well as an email with tracking information once the package "shipped". The tracking website updated daily showing the package traveling to the US, even getting to the correct City and State. Finally I saw that the package had been "delivered" but the tracking information showed the wrong zip code. At that time I realized that the zip code on the shipping address was incorrect. This should have been a red flag, definitely not the first one, because my information auto-filled when I was making the purchase, I did not put the incorrect information. I contacted customer service, to advise them that I had not in fact received the package. They replied with a screen shot of the tracking information showing the package as delivered. I advised again that it was not delivered, and that they have the wrong zip code on my address but that should not have affected it as my street name is the only one even remotely like it in my city. The package was not accidentally delivered to the wrong address. I checked with neighbors and checked my cameras. The package was not delivered. Customer service came back to me to confirm my correct address and advised that they would be re-shipping my order. I was provided a new tracking number, completely different website from the previous one. The tracking information updated daily, again, showing the package moving toward my location. The package was again marked as delivered, when I did not receive it. I reached out to customer service again, this time with my own screen shot of the tracking information, and they again responded with the same screenshot of the tracking information showing my package as delivered. I insisted that it was not here. I then received an email from them saying basically "sorry for the inconvenience, we'll be refunding you now" and a "screenshot" that says "refund successfully" which they cited as "proof" from their end. I emailed multiple times advising that I wanted to talk to someone about this, that I did not request a refund from them, and that I would not accept what they are providing as proof because it is a grammatically screenshot that shows no account information or even an amount. They responded 5 times with the same exact email with the false proof screenshot. They are no longer communicating with me, they are hoping I will just give up and go away. I have not received a refund from them.
