I got a Facebook Message from an old family friend. It was in a group message with someone I didn’t know, and that person left the group. They asked how I was, I responded without much detail and asked after them. They also responded without much detail, then said “ Oh wow it's great to hear that..but I'm just wondering if you have heard anything about the Gradient Grant Community Outreach Supports Program??” I said “I haven’t”. They said “ Well it's not advertised publicly, the Gradient gives back community outreach program and devotes its resources in assisting Americans. The foundation strives to help poor, distressed or underprivileged American families who are at risk of losing their homes, Disabled, Retired, Teachers, Self Employers, and also for College.i don't know if you have received any mail from them??” I felt weird, googled the program, and found the exact text of the message on the BBB scam site. I have stopped communicating.
