Description
It appears to be a renewal website for passports, but is a catfish scam that collects SSN, date and place of birth, emergency contact information, and charging $129 fee to provide a PDF to mail in to an incorrect address. Responding to the email address gets no response, and calling the number goes to an automated recording saying "you are eligible for a $100 Wal-Mart gift card" but no customer service to come online to address the issue. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE IT IS 100% A SCAM. I didn't see it until later but it says plain as day on the website "PASSPORTSUBMISSION.US operates as a private service provider with no affiliation to any governmental organization." So a private service provider with no affiliation to any governmental organization clearly cannot help process a passport renewal. How they are able to get as the top sponsored result on Google ahead of the proper travel.state.gov website is beyond me. GO TO TRAVEL.STATE.GOV website to renew your passport and save yourself the money and threat of having your identity stolen.
