Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

Youth Surge DIR (aka ysdir.com & revdir.com ) preys on peoples trust to get said individuals to recruit friends and family members to upgrade "VIP levels" at various costs to supposedly promote digital content across various platforms (TikTok, Instagram & YouTube) in exchange for payment. Each level unlocks a higher level you can earn and withdraw. They refer to you as employees and insist that they will handle all tax aspects. Their mode of contact is through WhatsApp, and they utilize multiple numbers for various "customer service" representatives. They have multiple "managers" that supposedly oversee hundreds of people, so they push you to build your own team. Of roughly $7500 that I had "invested", I received roughly $1500 back before they started to have "technical difficulties" and eventually held all of the accounts hostage unless you pay a "KYC verification fee" to unlock your account. One individual in our group agreed to "jailbreak" their account for $300 in attempt to show other members that they will never see their money and to dissuade anyone else from paying to unlock their accounts. Their thought process was that it is better to eat $300 than watch their friends and family lose thousands. They initially started by paying people, to encourage them to share it with others, and the scam works. My family member had shown me multiple deposits over a handful of months that made it seem legitimate. Legitimate enough to, in hindsight, overlook so many red flags. The "managers" start out very accommodating, even offering to lend us "employees" money to establish new accounts, and will say it is on an effort to help them make the final push for" Manager of the Year". All transactions are caried out in crypto currencies (ETH & USDT). This is 100% a scam. They are VERY convincing, and they play off of people's hopes in these trying times. I can provide much more documentation than what the upload link will allow, but they claim to be a legitimate Colorado business.
