I purchased 33 boxes of France gift sets through Sacramento Pallet Liquidators. I paid via Venmo, since they have purchase protection. Once I sent the money, the supplier sent me tracking info by the end of the day. At around 4am, I received an email stating my order is in “Hold” and i needed to pay $300 for “Insurance Protection Fee”, and that it would be refunded upon delivery of the package. I reached out to Sacramento Pallet Liquidators to let them know of this problem and they said I have to pay. I asked for contact info for the shipping company and they did not provide it. All they said was I will get refunded with cash when the package is delivered. They ended up blocking me on social media platforms, and they have yet to respond to my request for funds back via Venmo.
