I was offered a remote logistics position. The emails I received stated that the job description would consist of me receiving packages, removing the original shipping information and invoices, printing new tracking information and then shipping out said package as I undergo a 30 day probation period. I would receive a check for $3250 and be given an assessment to determine whether or not I would be taken on as a full time employee. Upon applying, I didn’t undergo an interview and was hired immediately. I then receive an email from the company yet again and was sent the information for enrolling for the payroll department, as well as an I-9 form. This position seemed legit, as I further did my research I discovered that this is a common scamming method.
