This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
They approached me with a job offer as a client relations coordinator and gave me youtube videos to watch related to customer service while at the same time tried to set up a cryptocurrency wallet for me to buy bitcoin and withdraw those bitcoins into a “company” wallet even though they said I would need the money to deal with customers. I gave them the money and never heard back from them again. I was supposed to get paid every Friday at 6 PM. I did not get paid.
