Description

I received an unmarked letter with a single form inside claiming to be from Corporate Document Service in Washington DC. It asked for $149.50 for corporate meeting minuets annual statement in accordance with business state laws. I was immediately suspicious as I am not a corporation and the form looked highly suspect. I looked up the phone number listed and saw a long list of scams associated with it. Then I looked up the address it is requesting a check or money order be sent to and it is a UPS store. I am reporting this so others do not fall victim to this stupid scam. I will probably also report it to law enforcement as well. If you get one I suggest you report it as well to https://www.uspis.gov/report as it is mail fraud and a federal crime.
