Description
Our church was contacted about a piano being donated. All we had to do was pay for the movers. We received the following email. Upon a google search we found this to be a scam. The movers wanted $500 or $1200 for rush. Hi xxx, Thank you for getting in touch and for sharing the details about xxx xxx Church and their interest in the piano. The Yamaha Baby Grand Piano GC1, measuring 151 cm by 146 cm, was my late husband’s cherished instrument. It is in excellent condition and was last tuned just a few weeks before his passing. As I recently moved to a smaller home that cannot accommodate it, I have decided to donate the piano to someone who will value and care for it as he did. The piano is currently in storage with the moving company that handled my relocation, and they can arrange delivery to any location. I’ve attached a few photos for reference. If xxx or the church would like to proceed, please feel free to share my email address so she can contact me directly. Once I hear from her, I’ll be glad to go over the next steps and connect her with the movers regarding transport. Kind regards, Julia Spinler
