Description

In the form of a short notification entitled "Details About Your Rights in Medicare", it starts out with "You will soon turn 65 and approach your Medicare Initial Coverage Election Period". This is followed by three bullet points stating I must enroll in Medicare when first eligible or risk a reduction in my SS payment, that missing the Initial Coverage Election Period may trigger a monthly penalty I will have to pay for the rest of my life, and that late enrollment can leave me uncovered in the event of a serious illness for more than a year. So the language is written to cause alarm, and that is always suspicious. In a very tiny font at the bottom it admits that they are not affiliated with any government agency.
