Description

I responded to an ad for a storage container on Facebook Marketplace posted by someone named Myra. When I indicated I wanted to purchase, I was sent an Invoice from a company called Connex Depot in Chicago (I am in California) with the payment instructions to wire the funds and then show proof of payment. The instructions indicated that a receipt along with delivery directions would follow. This was on 11/6. There has been no further communication from Connex Depot nor answers to phone calls or e-mails. I reached out to another container company with a similar name (Conex West) to see if they had heard of Connex Depot. Unfortunately, they said that they had heard of scams associated with Connex Depot.
