Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

I received multiple calls back to back from 205-536-9831, finally left a voicemail. Claimed to be a Mr. Strutt from AARS, asking for location and job information and claimed a debt owed of $900.00. Said I had one opportunity to call back in case I didn't receive the "30 Day Demand" notice. No other information was given except for a completely different call back number, 716-216-3316. The tone and way he spoke seemed like it was supposed to be threatening and that they were going to be calling my job.
