Description
I googled Jones Road to possibly purchase cosmetics. This was the first website in the search results, https://www.jonesroadsofficial.us.com. When I went there, I saw many red flags. The main page showed a banner for a memorial day sale, in November. All products were also listed at STEEP discounts with "Free Shipping on all orders." When clicking on specific items, it shows a fire emoji and "7 products sold in last 11 hours," or "___(number) people have this in their cart" to fake urgency and manipulate emotional spending. When I didn't see kits that had been recently advertised on YouTube commercials for the upcoming holidays, that was another red flag. Lastly, I went to find the true website and see the difference (jonesroadbeauty.com). I also then googled the fake URL and whether it was a scam. The search results say that it is. I want to report it before more people have their credit card information and money stolen, as this has happened to me in the past. Please see website comparison screenshot. I hope this fake scam can be taken down.
