This is a fake company that pays for SEO so they come up first when someone in Ontario is searching for Appliance Repairs. They also put a graphic that mimics a Google 5-Star Review rating with (21) in parentheses, which makes it looks well-reviewed. They have fake reviews on their website. You will see from many sites online and other reports submitted to you, the BBB, that the company has ONLY 1-star reviews with 696 Yelp! reviews and 571 Trustpilot reviews all confirming it is a scam. On 11/05, they came to my home and pretended to look at my dryer. They quoted me a high fee of $855.66 and told me it was still a good deal because my dryer was made before 2020 and so was of better quality and worth repairing. They said I had to pay a deposit of $586.03 because they needed to order 2 parts which would take 4-5 days. I asked if I could use my washer in the meantime and they said yes, no problem. They then left my home and only after did I realize they left my washer also disconnected, so now I was out a dryer AND a washer. That is when I did what I should have been smart enough to do in the beginning and researched them online more and saw all the reviews about this being a scam (side note: WHY would this business be legally permitted to continue with SO many reports of scams? It seems a little insane to me). I emailed them asking them to come back and hook my washer back up and I called them twice and left messages and you can guess they have not responded. No call back, no email back. I spoke to a person on the phone both times and left the message with a person and they only said they "would make a note" or "ask the technician to call you" and I have heard nothing about the parts or about reconnecting my washer. In the meantime, I connect with an actually reputable repair company on 11/07 who confirmed I only needed 1 part, not 2, and that they could get it for me from their inventory warehouse. They returned today, 11/10, and fixed my dryer. I paid this second repair company a total of $527.37 and they (1) came to my home same-day, (2) completed the services within 2 business days, (3) fully repaired my dryer, and (4) reconnected my washer for free.
