Looking at properties on Apartments.com. I came across a listing for an apartment at a great price and with good utilities. I emailed to set up a tour. I was prompted by the scammer to send a “pre-application” in order to get pre approved for the apartment. After submitting the application over email he emailed my back saying i was approved but in order to tour the apartment I would have to pay him a security deposit and sign a lease agreement. I thought this was sketchy so I didnt pay and when i inquired about just touring before any payment he sent an email with “his” id and documents “proving” he is property manager, which set off more alarm bells. After looking into Just Let Properties it seems as if it is a scam.
