Description
I recieved a form in the mail titled Annual Renewal Instruction Form (Minnesota Businesses), informing me that renewal for my LLC is required. It instructed me to fill out the form with my business information and include a check for $135.00. In the fine print, the form clarifies that the organization the form came from (C.F.S.) does not have a contract with any government organization, that the offices of this entity are actually in Florida,and that this report can be filed for free directly with the state. They are trying to charge people a ridiculous amount for a useless service.
