Called for an estimate on my garage door and the person arrived at my house to tell us that he’s going to charge $1500.00 to put a new spring that will cost $1000.00 and then $500 for the broken cable and the wheel. I then proceeded to tell the guy we don’t want to proceed and pay $1500 that could have costed way less. He got angry about us not wanting to proceed with him doing the work on the garage because I felt like something wasn’t right. To get him to leave my house he got paid by credit card for around $250.00 for just coming to the call and he insisted on taking apart. When I called the company to complain they stated the manager will call you in 5-10minutes and when 30 minutes went by I called again and got the same excuse. They never returned any calls after promising.
