On 10/24/25 I was shopping on line which I thought was a JC Penney website it was called JCP. At checkout after I put in my payment information. the confirmation email I received back for my purchase was from linaforte.com which included a tracking number. I was unable to track the package. I was unable to find a contact number for them. I did email the help desk to inquire on the process to track the package, in which I received no response. On investigation, I checked the customer reviews and found other consumers had experienced the same problem and the company was most likely a scam. On 11/7/25 after being unable to the company I contacted my bank to report this as fraud and they did refund my money but the name of the company that was paid for my purchase was not JCP or linaforte but meiishacom estco Brookline, New York.
