This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Scam phone call went to voicemail. Claimed I had a check for $5286 from a relief fund program or Federal Assistance. I didn’t answer or respond. Checked to see if fraudulent, now report since it is.
