This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I was contacted initially through text message and then sent an application through email that ask for my name, address and phone number. Then ask me to take a picture of myself holding my ID (driver’s licenses.)
