This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
It was an automated phone call that quickly went to voicemail. "Dan" told me to go to www.myreliefcheck.com to collect $5,000+ dollars in uncollected relief funds before they get recalled. Fortunately a web search sent me the BBB link to the scam report.
