Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

A Facebook ad was selling a working gas-powered engine kit. I ordered 3 for my grandkids to build with me. The ad (still on Facebook) had a detailed video of the assembly and the engine actually running. What I received was solid plastic molded engine models with no working parts. As soon as I received the models I emailed Bright Buy. They said I got what I ordered. I checked the vendor website, "popquickstore.com" to see what I actually ordered. That website has no products listed.
