I was texted by was a Randstad rep, they wanted to share a job position, I said sure, they linked me to Lydia from "The Marcs Studios", the idea is you complete "reviews" of videos. I say "reviews" because you just arbitrarily select 1 of 3 positive responses. It costs money to do these reviews (they do start you off with some funds) and you earn a tiny commission per video reviewed...All is well until they ask you to further fund the account (as in your account is say 130 USDC and they give you "joint film review or Combo Subscription") which costs you 250 or so, so your account goes negative, you can then not continue reviewing any videos or collect on your account until you pay the money. If you don't pay, the threat is you loose the salary they promise "720 USDC for 5 days" 1440 and 2800 for 15 and 30 days respectively and of course you loose the USDC that tied up in the account. The attached image is what this looks like. You can of course pay the money they demand, but this is where it is a scam, what job demands you pay them money to continue. Also they pay by bitcoin instead of regular funds (CAD/US and so on). The wallet you send money to, is changed every day. They are quite clever and have their own people on their WhatsApp (this is the what they were using for the training such) discussion board, trying to convince you that their friend signed them up 6 months ago...so it must be legit, right? Anyway lets say I did pay the funds, what stops them from simply not actually paying it back since its all crypto and nothing is ever signed. This is the SCAM. Convince you to pay more money to do these special reviews and because they earn your trust by a couple days of actually paying up you then give them the extra money and I presume they then don't pay up. (or at some point after they have made enough of you they then don't pay up. This absolutely sounded scammy especially with their VIP levels (which earn you more commission but cost more of your money) I played along till it was going to cost me my own money. I played them a bit by only giving them what was required for the days orders (instead of the max amount---so you can earn more commissionright) , so they actually ended up loosing 106 USDC on this scam.
