Description
Personally, I can smell the aura of a scam coming mikes away. So, my spidey senses immediately detected a rat. The text message came from 480-666-7931, it said reply interested if I'd like to pursue the employment opportunity, named a person by the name of Aarika Padilla as a primary contact. The text message then instructed to download Microsoft Teams and message her (the hiring manager). Instead, I went straight to google. The scammer provided a fictitious hiring code to reference as well (DHN-0031), googled that as well. It does relate to a hybrid government job in the state of Illinois, which I wouldn't have applied . The job description was completely outside of my wheelbarrow, guess they should find someone else for this scam. But, I hope none of you, keep your thinking caps on tight, and stay safe out there. It's a jungle! Hope this helps someone.
