Description
I ordered a coat online through Emma & Jack Boston. EMMA - PREMIUM WINDPROOF WOOL COAT. It was promoted through a social media ad. It took almost two weeks to arrive, and shipped from China rather than from Boston as implied on the website. It was promoted as a quality wool coat with a shawl collar, and with a retail price of $225. The one that arrived didn’t even look like the same coat! It is very, very, very cheaply made. It seems to be made of a synthetic material rather than wool, and it is unlined - it even has a seam running down the back of the coat. There is also no inside label, which seems suspicious in and of itself. It has a hood rather than the shawl collar shown, and the button is high on the bust line instead of at the waist. Because it is unlined and the seems are so cheaply made, it could not be worn open front. I saw a similar one on the Temu website for $17.51, one on LightIntheBox for $12.49, and one on the Walmart website for $19.99. The photo is exactly the same, but the brand is listed as “foraging dimple.” This is an extensive mis-representation.
