This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Our mail carrier showed up at our home with a package that said that postage was due in the amount of $11.05. The mail carrier noted that there was a label added by the post office stating that the postage used by the sender was counterfeit. Unfortunately, my supposed to pay for the package and upon opening it there was a unsolicited unordered item which was a Halloween fleece blanket very small and cheaply made. We then checked online and after a bit were able to find information on this sender and discover that this is part of a scam using the United States Postal Service. The results of receiving such a package could end up with them using your information to place fraudulent reviews for their product saying that it is a confirmed purchase. Or even identity theft and credit card and bank fraud. At this point in time, we do not know what their motives are and we'll have to be vigilant in watching our accounts and any further issues that may arise from this. I'm hoping that this information helps others or leads to this company being stopped. Item received was from China and came in packaging with the information on the item LOUHONGZHEN-8921.
