Received a letter from the company (MCI) passing themselves off as part of a Verizon company handling long distance call billing. They sent a bill to my wife for $15.00 for a long distance phone call from our home phone to a phone (779-548-2800) in Marengo Illinois. We called Verizon and they said that years ago that they bought a company MCI but only Verizon handles our phone billing for long distance and local calling..
