I applied for a remote position advertised as “Cargo Compliance Auditor” with a company calling itself Techcycle Technology LLC / Inc. The contact email was [email protected]. They sent me a contract promising $4,200 per month and later emailed saying I would receive packages in 3–7 business days to “process and reship.” I now realize this is a reshipping scam using stolen merchandise. I did not provide my Social Security number or bank details, but I did send my photo ID and address. The phone number used was (502) 677-4714. I’m reporting this to warn others, as the company name, address, and phone appear to be part of a fake hiring operation. Also there are other numbers they use 502-236-5485, that number was a woman answering the phone saying her name is Sam she was the one that sent me the documents of the hiring process then some guy name Tyrone Lee sent me a message stating, “ Good day, I hope all is well! This is Tyrone Lee, your assigned supervisor for outgoing packages at TECHCYCLE TECHNOLOGY INC. We would attempt to call you for the next step of your employment with TECHCYCLE TECHNOLOGY INC. We highly suggest you to save our numbers so our calls will not be blocked. Thank you very much.“ I’m glad I caught on to it quicker and didn’t send any further information,
