Description
My daughter applied on Indeed and was sent an email identical to the one another person previously posted about. She was sent a fake check approximately two weeks later with no explanation or tax credentials provided. We took it to two separate banks for verification to prove that it was indeed a scam. The check looked legitimate to the eye in all ways (clear type, perforated edges, etc) but was missing the memo explaining what it was for. The security details were all in place. It was from Knox Photocopy Services, which came up in an internet search but is a fake company which also shares the same address with the bank in question, both in California. The address on the FedEx envelope is shared with at least 6 other companies. Do not fall for this scam.
