Came across this website, Whitlock mini dachshunds, while looking to add a dachshund to our family. Followed them on instagram. Sent messages and emails back and forth. Noticed some little red flags here and there on their Instagram account. But I over looked them at first. We were on the fence about purchasing a pup for $1300 that “would be ready to go home” in a week ish or put a $300 deposit down to go on a wait list for another pup. We decided to go on a wait list for another pup. Just before I sent our etransfer I decided to do a quick Google review on them. Thank God I did! I came across a reported BBB review of them being a scammer and within that report was the information on the real breeder, Northern Miniature Long Haired Dachshunds. We looked them up on Instagram and reached out to the real breeder in Australia and sure enough, this scammer has been doing this for a LONG time and has scammed many family’s out of lots of money. She gets many messages a day about this scammer. The real breeder has done her best to report them and let people know there’s a scammer out there stealing her stuff and posing to be her. I am grateful we found all this out before losing any money but we came close. It saddens me to know many other honest hard working families have been scammed by them, left devastated and broken hearted. These people need to be STOPPED!
