Description
Government Agency Impostor! This is a scam. This website looks like an official government passport renewal site. I needed a passport for my senior husband. I was filling out the DS 82 online form, thinking it was a legit side and paid a service fee for his passport renewal with my credit card. When I realized this was just the form you print out yourself and it should be free, I contacted the company via email with cancellation and disputed the charge of $89. My credit card bank resolved it. 2 days later my credit card was compromised with over 8 fraudulent charges (hotel reservations, flights to Alaska, Apple store purchases and more) for a total amount of 1,345.51. I dispute all these charges. My credit card institute is currently investigating the fraud. But after researching this website, there are reports of fraudulent charges/activities from this website available. I wish I would have read this sooner. Now I am very concerned that all this sensitive information regarding his passport renewal could be used fraudulently as well. There is no address on the website, only the company name Passport Rush LLC. Please look into this. Thank you.
