Description
I received an email informing me that my job application was selected for a company called Leadspire Digital LLC, and I was shortlisted for an interview, but I was required to complete a TransUnion background verification. The email informed me that the verification costs a $29.99 non-refundable fee. I never applied to this job, and I am certain that if I clicked on the link, paid with a debit card, and provided information for a "credit report", then the sender of this email would be able to collect information about my identity and finances. The name attached to the email was Maria Arellano, which appears to have been used in other Leadspire Digitial scams.
