Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

I’ve been on the hunt for a job, and filing multiple applications, the scammer reached out offering a job after doing an application on indeed jobs. They offered $2000 bi weekly to receive packages and inspect them and label them and drop them off at usps/fedex/ups for and additional $40 bonus per trip to do so. It seemed legit as I was looking for jobs and filling applications. I continued to show interest, gave them a photo of my id. And told them I was very interested. All before doing more research. After doing research on this company I realized it was a scam and they are wanting me as a “package mule”. I have no longer had contact. But I hope I have not fallen victim of their trap.
