I watched part of an Instagram "program", purportedly hosted by Oprah Winfrey (I have since learned was AI generated), about the product, Lipo Max, which her AI image said was a company in which she invested. I thought I might buy a bottle for someone I know who is overweight, so continued watching. They made an offer that if you buy 2, you get a 3rd free, so I clicked on that offer. I expected there to be a page where Pay Pal would give me the opportunity to review the offer prior to purchase, and I planned to cancel the order, as I had changed my mind. This did not happen, so I exited the site, expecting that I would not be charged anything. A week later, 9 bottles were delivered to my address, and the company, through "Cartpanda", hade made 3 deductions to my bank account, through PayPal. I immediately sent an e-mail to both Cartpanda and Pay Pal, explaining what had happened and demanding a refund (which they advertise you can get). I was ignored by Cartpanda, and although I e-mailed 5 times, I was not able to get a response from a human. PayPal credited me back one of the bank deductions, but decided not to credit the rest, due to "they delivered the product". It is obvious no human at PayPal read any of my e-mails, as I was not requesting a refund based on no delivery. So, I am out over $200 for a product that I didn't want, by a company who used false advertising.
