I have been in dire need of a remote job. After applying to many posts and not receiving a reply, I resorted to social media. The way the scheme works is someone on social media who has no followers and barely any account activity will make a post saying something to the effect of "hiring remote workers to earn $5,000 per month" or something like that. I replied and someone asked for my age and phone number which I provided. I was then contacted via Whatsapp by an individual named Jamie Taylor then the conversation moved to Telegram. She helped me create an account with MotorTrends in which you basically upload data to increase exposure of cars for the MotorTrends automotive magazine. I earned some initial credits but I could not proceed unless I paid an "activation" fee. I hit a brick wall and asked my "mentor" Jamie for help and she instantly blocked me on Telegram and also deactivated my MotorTrends account. So I basically lost out on $20 and whatever I made while I was on their website and now I can't find any trace of them anywhere.
