Description
I have been trying to get a loan and had been applying with several online companies. After over a week of applying S***** Cash txt me and started the application. Everything was going great until they said that I needed to get an insurance to protect their funds in case I defaulted or could no longer pay. They said they were depositing the insurance amount into my account and that it was FDIC insured. They then wanted me to withdraw the amount and send $ to an FDIC bank via Walgreens or Walmart. I asked why they couldn’t just set it up on their own that I knew for a fact that my bank has done that before when I request insurance on a loan. I then asked them to just tell me what bank I could go to deposit the $ and set up the insurance under my name like they wanted. He started arguing with me when I told them I didn’t feel comfortable doing as he wanted. I was not going to withdraw anything and take to a store to return $. He got upset and I told him to just cancel the loan. I was no longer interested. The loan officer “ Victor” then called me and txt me the following day. I have the txts where he then starts to get upset when he couldn’t change my mind. I told him I was reporting them to the BBB as well as filing a report to FBI fraud department. He got upset and then started accusing me of trying to scam them out of their $. He said he would report me and I told him to go ahead. He kept saying that I needed to return the $ that they sent but nothing was ever sent. I messed up big time by giving him all my banking information. I finally had to block him.
