Description
I googled what my zodiac ascending sign was, and found this website as a result. It said I could get my personalized horoscope for a one time fee of $0.50 so I proceeded with the purchase using Apple Pay WITHOUT creating any sort of account. I had to enter my email to get the horoscope, which I did receive. Not long after, an unauthorized charge of $12.99 was attempted by “MOYRA WEB” but flagged and declined by my bank. I went to the app website to try and cancel any subscription I had been unknowingly signed up for, and I kept getting an error that my email address was not associated with an account (even though I was already getting daily spam from them). With seemingly no way to contact them to cancel, I ended up closing my debit card by reporting it stolen, and I got a new card. Within ONE DAY, a second $12.99 charge to my new card number (that they shouldn’t even have) was again flagged and declined by my bank. At this point, I had to call my bank and have a stop payment setup for this repeated charge to prevent further scamming.
