Description
The scam is using a Facebook page titled Belgian Malinois puppies available for adoption and rehoming. We reached out to adopt one of the puppies. We then paid $800 through Zelle. The main contact person was Monica Mayberry but the Zelle payments went to other people. The “seller” came back and said they needed another $250 for final vet visit, which we sent. This money went to Jamal Richardson (Zelle account [email protected]). They then wanted $150 for delivery fee. After that was paid the shipping company wanted $599 for a crate rental.
