I saw an online Instagram or Facebook ad (maybe both) for 'CoveBalm'. It was marketed as a product specifically engineered for women of colour and that it was a 'skincare medicine' + 'makeup' all in one product. I paid for two different colours, and received an entirely different product. What I received was 'Lakerain Serum Boosted Skin Tint Beauty Balm' - not Cove Balm. I have since found this item on Amazon for $9 and Temu for $3 - I paid ~$25 per item. This is a total rip off. Additionally, the product was not at all as advertised. Greasy, low coverage, and since it is a Chinese product, it was made in shades with a strong yellow undertone indicative of an Asian product and consumer.
