Requiring Emails for emergencies I quickly clicked on help and the next thing I knew: I got a telephone call from a man and a woman who maneuvered me into letting them infiltrate my Personal Computer. They had as much control as I, when a third person, " a man calling himself Sean and having a somewhat better grasp of English than the previous two took over my PC. Wasting no time, he flashed something too fast for me to digest, and informed me that the problem is a "Trojan Virus" and told me to write a check of several hundred dollars to the PAYEE " Advertising Wing 4MC " to be put in my printer and sent to him. I let him know that I wasn't going to write any checks and after many minutes of a failure to break down my resistance, he agreed to use my credit card. Around 4pm EST the credit card company declined the charge and Sean apparently shaken by the large amount that he was not likely to get, flashed another credit card of mine on the screen, saying " why don't we use this credit. I was shocked to see all of my personal information, including my social security number as clear as daylight. There was never a better time to close my PC and phone. I learned afterwards how this scammer got into the other credit card. While pushing me to send him a check for $799;99 he had requested a single use code "808668" to use in infiltrating my Microsoft account on Friday afternoon, September 26, 2025.
