This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I applied for a position on Zip Recruiter. I was contacted by Jay Solis for an interview. I confirmed the interview but when I did research on the company he was supposedly recruiting for, Global Life American Income Division, I saw scam information on the web. I couldn't find Jay Solis on LinkedIn. I called Global Life American Income Division directly to ask if they were associated and they said no and recommended that I did not proceed. I looked up the phone number and saw the scam report by another person on the BBB as well.
