I contacted the individual Julysa Gough who advertised a chihuahua puppy for sale on an apple-head chihuahua Facebook group. Many people had pictures of puppies that they successfully adopted from Julysa. She messaged me back on the Facebook Messenger & said the the puppy was already sold but she offered me 2 others. I picked one & she requested $250 deposit. The total would be $562. $112 of the price included shipping. She could only take cash no credit cards. So it had to be Zelle, Apple Pay or Chime. Besides the "cash only" payment everything seemed normal. I have successfully purchased many puppies online in the past with no problems. The problems all surfaced with the shipping company ROYAL ROUTE COURIER INC. First they say that the puppy needs a crate rental upgrade of $500 that will be refunded upon delivery. They only take payments of Zelle, Apple Pay or Zelle. After reluctantly paying that undisclosed, not written into the pet contract fee I get another email from ROYAL ROUTE COURIER INC that I have to buy $600 pet insurance for them to transport the puppy. At that point I refused to pay. All the while Julysa is emailing guilt emails to me. Here's one: "Good morning. How are you doing? I'm fine, is there any update, You know all I care about now is Coco's condition right ?, knowing she slept with strangers and more to that, I don't know if the proper care is being given to her. We need to get her delivered, okay? I don't want to add to your frustration. But that innocent puppy needs you" The delivery company & the seller send constant emails trying to harass & guilt you into sending more money. At this point I'm convinced that there's no puppy. No breeder would leave a puppy at a transport place for 2 days! I blocked their emails.
