Was looking to buy a dachshund puppy to add them to the family. We paid $700 for the puppy and then they said the shipping would be the next day. I looked into the website and was making sure it was real and all seemed fine. Then the shipping conpany said the puppy needed insurance and it was an added $1550. The email that the shipping company used was suspicious, so I looked it up and it was reported as a scam company and that they have done countless fraud orders for puppies and also weed. Now the shipping company keeps sending me emails saying that I'm not following the procedures and will be reported for animal abuse. "Dear client, We are writing to inform you that, as of this notice, there has been a failure to comply with the necessary procedures required to complete the care and delivery of the pet currently under our supervision. Despite previous reminders and communication, no action has been taken to secure the welfare of the animal. Please be advised that failure to proceed within the next 24-48 hours will be considered a case of pet abuse and abandonment, which is a serious offense under federal and state animal welfare laws. Abandoning or neglecting an animal under our care exposes the pet to potential harm and discomfort, and such negligence is punishable by: A fine of up to $10,000, And/or a jail term of up to 2 years, depending on the jurisdiction and severity of the case. We urge you to take immediate action by finalizing all pending responsibilities to ensure the pet’s safety and prevent legal escalation. If no response or resolution is made within the stated time frame, we will be compelled to initiate legal proceedings, and our legal team will be in contact with you.
