Ring Planet called and pretended to be Century Link (my phone /internet provider) and told me my phones were being discontinued and wouldn't work within 1 month. They said are sending me free phones and free set-up with the same monthly fee. They sent me phones (that are static-y and disconnect constantly), they sent a modem that they said needs to be hooked up for the phones and ported me to their internet service which disconnected me from my original service. The internet is useless and keeps disconnecting. I then got a bill for $650-.Phones, service fees, 2 lines , and new internet. I ordered NONE of this. The customer service reps were exceptionally rude and told me that I ordered the service and they have my signature (?). Where is consumer protection, look at all these reviews with the same story... I am a small business, haven't had internet and am disconnected with my long term internet/phone provider... I recycled all my phones , have spent hours on this.
